INT'L BOXING HALL OF FAME SETS DATE
TO ANNOUNCE NEWEST CLASS OF INDUCTEES

Class of 2022 To Be Announced On Tuesday, December 7th   

​    CANASTOTA, NY –NOVEMBER 30, 2021 -The International Boxing Hall of Fame will release the names of the Class of 2022 on Tuesday, December 7th at 1 p.m.

    Inductees will be named in the following categories: Modern, Old-Timer, Non-Participant, Observer and Women’s Modern. Members of the Boxing Writers Association of America and an international panel of boxing historians cast votes. Voters from Japan, England, Canada, Australia, Germany, Mexico, Argentina and the United States are among those who participated in the election process.

    “The Hall of Fame’s annual announcement is an exciting and highly anticipated moment for the boxing community. All eyes turn to Canastota to see who will be among the new honorees," said Executive Director Edward Brophy. "All inductees will receive a permanent place on the Hall of Fame Wall and living inductees will be presented with a gold Hall of Fame Ring at the Official Induction Ceremony.” 

    Due to the cancellation of the two previous Hall of Fame Induction Weekends (2020 and 2021), the Classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 will be honored at a “Once In a Lifetime” event themed the Hall of Fame Weekend Induction Trilogy on June 9-12, 2022.
