New inductees to be honored in Canastota during 2023 Hall of Fame
Induction Weekend set for June 8-11
CANASTOTA, NY –NOVEMBER 28,2022 - The International Boxing Hall of Fame will release the names of the Class of 2023 on Wednesday, December 7th at 11 a.m.
Inductees will be named in the following categories: Men’s Modern, Old-Timer, Non-Participant, Observer, Women’s Modern and Women’s Trailblazer. Members of the Boxing Writers Association of America and an international panel of boxing historians cast votes. Voters from Japan, England, Canada, Argentina, Australia, The Netherlands, Germany, Mexico and the United States are among those who participated in the election process.
“The Hall of Fame’s annual announcement is an exciting and highly anticipated moment for the boxing community. All eyes turn to Canastota to see who will be among the new honorees," said Executive Director Edward Brophy. "All inductees will receive a permanent place on the Hall of Fame Wall and living inductees will be presented with a gold Hall of Fame Ring at the Official Induction Ceremony.”
The Class of 2023 will be honored during the Hall of Fame Induction Weekend on June 8-11, 2023 in “Boxing’s Hometown.”

Many events will take place in Canastota and nearby Turning Stone Resort Casino throughout the four-day celebration including ringside talks, fist casting, fight night, 5K race / fun run, boxing autograph card show, banquet, parade and induction ceremony.
