HALL OF FAME TO ANNOUNCE 2026 PARADE OF CHAMPIONS
GRAND MARSHAL ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18th

Parade of Champions Set For Sunday, June 14th at 12 noon in Canastota 

    CANASTOTA, NY - MARCH 16, 2026 - The International Boxing Hall of Fame will announce the 2026 Parade of Champions Grand Marshal on Wednesday, March 18th at 1 p.m. (EST) 






























     “Each year boxing fans eagerly anticipate the Hall of Fame’s announcement of the parade grand marshal,” said Hall director Ed Brophy. “We are very much looking forward to the exciting announcement.”

    The Parade of Champions, set for Sunday, June 14th at 12 noon, will pass through the streets of Canastota. In addition to the grand marshal and boxing stars, the parade will also feature pageant caliber bands, drum & bugle corps, pipe bands, floats and community organizations. 

    The 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Weekend is scheduled for June 11-14th in “Boxing’s Hometown.” Many events will take place in Canastota and nearby Turning Stone Resort Casino throughout the four-day celebration. In addition to the Parade of Champions, events include ringside talks, fist casting, fight night, 5K race / fun run, boxing autograph card show, banquet and induction ceremony.  Click HERE for the 2026 Hall of Fame Weekend ticket order form.

















    The Class of 2026 to be honored includes boxerGennadiy “GGG” GolovkinAntonio Tarver Nigel BennNaoko FujiokaJackie NavaJimmy Clabby (posthumous), trainer / cut man Russ Anber, referee Frank Cappuccino (posthumous), trainer / cut man Jimmy Glenn (posthumous), physician Dr. Edwin “Flip” Homansky, journalist Kevin Iole and journalist Alex Wallau (posthumous).

















    An impressive lineup of boxing stars from around the world will also participate in the festivities including Marco Antonio Barrera, Mikey Garcia, Michael Spinks, Christy Martin, Erik Morales, Timothy Bradley Jr., Winky Wright, Jim Lampley, Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik, Vinny Paz, “Jesse” James Leija, Jorge Linares, Kenny Bayless, Ray Mercer, Ruben Olivares, Eric “Butterbean” Esch and Micky Ward.
